Alexandra (“Alex”) Scott has a passionate and tenacious approach to her work which caught the attention of our firm. Alex started her career working in the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office where she handled hundreds of both adult criminal and juvenile matters involving such offenses such as drunk driving, sexual assault, drug offenses, domestic violence, weapons violations, and restraining order violations just to name a few. Alex has also successfully negotiated numerous traffic and ordinance violations resulting in the reduction of points saving our clients increased insurance costs.
Alex is an experienced litigator having tried over 20 trials (more than most attorneys in their career) and obtaining not guilty verdicts or dismissals in almost 70% of them—a remarkable record. She has also litigated numerous evidentiary motions challenging the admissibility of evidence, statements, medical records, expert testimony, and the like.
The types of cases Alex handles for our firm include drunk driving defense, sexual assault cases, domestic violence, drug offenses, restraining order violations, traffic matters, and juvenile crimes.
Alex is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Milwaukee Bar Association, Waukesha County Bar Association, and Washington County Bar Association. She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys the warm and sunny weather in Florida when she can get away. Alex also speaks Spanish and French fluently.
